Deliveries and Returns
Our Deliveries Process
Packages are generally dispatched within 1-2 days after receipt of payment and are shipped via your selected courier during checkout. Blue Water Gear no longer makes use of postal services of any kind due to the risk of shipment damage and/or loss.
Shipping fees include handling and packing fees. Fishing rods are packaged securely in PVC tubing and bubblewrap and incur an additional charge. As such should your order contain various other items with a rod(s) we will be required to ship the rod separately to ensure their safety during the shipping process.
Clients ordering outside of South African borders are requested to make arrangements for the collection of their goods by their own shipping company. Once the order is handed over to the clients shipping company the risk lies with the customer.
For customers making use of the PUDO Locker Courier Services, be sure to check the PUDO website and advise on the most convenient PUDO locker to your location. If no specific locker has been requested by the customer we will determine the nearest locker to your location using the PUDO geolocation service. Should a customer fail to collect their parcel before the expiration of the PIN CODE from PUDO then the cost to resend it to the locker from the Depot will be for the customers account.
Our Returns Process
All Returns, Exchanges and/or Refunds will be actioned as in store credit on the Blue Water Gear website to be used for future orders by said customer.
Should a client wish to return their product for a refund or exchange of goods, they will have 7 days from date of receipt to do so. The customer will also be liable for the associated shipping costs for the return of goods as well as the shipping of additional goods in the case of an exchange of products.
Should a customer wish to return an item after the allotted 7 day period it will be at the discretion of Blue Water Gear Management. In the case of a successful agreement to return or refund products there will be a 10% restocking fee on the value of the items being returned.
PUDO Locker services will be utilised for the exchange process, however should a return not fit in a PUDO locker service then the client will be liable for the full shipping costs with one of BWG's preferred courier services.
No product exchanges or in store credit refunds will take place until BWG is in possession of the returning products from the client to be exchanged.
All products being returned should be unopened in their original state - Any products deemed to be tampered with or changed will not be refunded.
