What are Pre-orders?
Pre-orders are advance purchases made on a product(s) that are scheduled to arrive in stock at a future date. They are a great way to guarantee that you get stock of the incoming item(s) before they launch to avoid disappointment of a product selling out before you can place your order.
PRE-ORDER ITEMS ARE NOT ON HAND AND THEREFORE, HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE ESTIMATED ARRIVAL DATE BEFORE THEY SHIP OUT.
1. BEFORE PREORDERING, PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW:
1.1 We may occasionally list incoming shipments product(s) on our online store for preorder.
1.2 If you wish to pre-order a product awaiting arrival, you can do so by following the general ordering procedure on our online store. Products available for pre-order can be found under the PREORDER menu on the website.
1.3 Preorder orders can only contain preorder items. You cannot checkout a basket that contain a mix of in stock items with preorder items.
1.4 Once your pre-order request has been successfully completed, you will receive an acknowledgment of receipt by email to the contact details you provide. This receipt will confirm your pre-order details and costs associated.
2. Payment
2.1 Preorders require FULL PAYMENT upon checkout if you are a consumer - Wholesale and Blue Crew preorders will require payment only once shipping costs have been included in your order after which the orders will only be shipped once payment has been received.
2.2 As a consumer/dealer, it is up to you to ensure your address details are updated should they change before your preorders are shipped.

3. Delivery
3.1 Preorders will only be shipped once ALL preorder products in a preorder are ready to ship.
3.2 We will aim to ship your product(s) within the noted preorder availability dates, however please understand we are working on time frames supplied by our freight partners which are subject to numerous variables.
3.3 If we are for some reason unable to fulfil your pre-order due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you via your chosen contact method.
4. Cancellation and Returns
4.1 You may cancel/edit your pre-order at any time before it is being readied to be shipped by contacting Blue Water Gear Customer Service.
4.2 If you have received your pre-ordered product and wish to return a pre-ordered product, returns will be processed in accordance with our usual return policy.
4.3 We reserve the right not to accept or cancel a pre-order for any reason at our discretion, including in the following cases:
4.3.1 we have been unable to obtain payment authorisation;
4.3.2 stock has been damaged/missing while in transit to the Blue Water Gear warehouse;
4.3.3 we have identified an error in the price or description of the product;
4.3.4 the information you provided as part of your pre-order is incorrect, is not technically supported or is inadequate for any reason;
4.3.5 your pre-order is considered suspicious;
4.3.6 your pre-order breaches any of these conditions; Or
4.3.7 we believe that your pre-order is fraudulent.
5. General
5.1 Please note that the official arrival date of pre-ordered products is subject to change. Any delays to the proposed arrival dates will be communicated to preorder customers.
5.2 We have tried to describe the product accurately, but it is possible that changes may be made before delivery.
5.3 BWG will not be responsible for any delays in our shipments
5.4 These pre-order terms and conditions (“Pre-Order Terms”), together with our terms of sale and privacy policy (“Terms”) are provided by Blue Water Gear (“we”, “us”, “us”)) and constitutes your agreement to place pre-orders. By placing a pre-order, you confirm that you accept these pre-order conditions and we recommend that you read them carefully. In the event of a conflict between the Terms and the Pre-Order Terms, the Pre-Order Terms will take precedence.
5.5 We reserve the right to modify these conditions. Please check our online store regularly for updates.
5.6 These pre-order conditions are governed by South African law. If a court of competent jurisdiction invalidates any part of these Membership Terms, the remainder will remain in effect.
