Providing 100% Hundo performance in a slightly larger 150-sized frame, the Bates Fishing Co. Hundo'50 Casting Reels are made for anglers fishing heavier lines and applications. Precisely cut from solid 6061-T6 aluminium bar stock using Bates' 9-axis CNC machine, the Hundo'50 includes a reel foot integrated directly into the center frame along with powerful aluminium gears and 13 precision ball bearings for rigid strength and smooth, highly refined operation.
Giving anglers plenty of leverage and comfort, the Hundo'50 comes fitted with a swept 100-millimeter handle paired with textured, custom-shaped knobs that are 15% larger. When hooked up to your new personal best, the powerful drag delivers up to a staggering 20-pounds of stopping force to keep you fully in charge during the heat of battle. Packaged in a protective neoprene case, the Bates Fishing Co. Hundo'50 Casting Reels provide enhanced capability and versatility for bass and other aquatic predators.

Our premium CNC Milled reels come with our flagship “3-Year, No B.S. Warranty.” We’re serious about standing behind the gear that serious anglers trust. If anything goes wrong with your CNC Milled reel within the first three years of ownership, we’ve got your back. In the rare case we can’t repair it, we’ll replace it - no hassle, no nonsense. Most issues are handled well before then, but please allow us up to 30 days for repairs or replacements so we can get you back on the water with the best possible result.
EDC Model Reels – 1-Year Warranty
Our EDC (Every Day Carry) reels are built for reliability and value, and they’re covered by a solid 1-Year Warranty. If any manufacturing defect appears within the first year of ownership, we’ll repair or replace it promptly so your everyday fishing stays uninterrupted.
We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we take your fishing - and your trust - very seriously. Cast with confidence knowing we stand behind every reel we make.
Fly Reels - Lifetime Mechanical Warranty
Fly Reels – Lifetime mechanical warranty no questions asked period! We will cover shipping of replacement product. We cover all mechanical moving parts on the reel form manufacture defects or rust. We do not cover reels that have been ran over, thrown after losing a fish lost or stolen. Cosmetic scratches or dents caused by you do not fall under the mechanical warranty.
Fly Rods - Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
Lifetime Workmanship warranty on all Fishing Rods – If your rod has a manufacturing flaw we will replace it free of charge, you will only need to take care of shipping. Broken rods or broken guides do not follow under the workmanship warranty. Customer will be responsible for shipping to and from our facility.
