AUGUST LINGNAU LT SERIES - 7'2", MED LT +, FAST, CASTING (ALX RODS)

The August Lingnau LT Series is a total performance package. The Signature series rod was custom developed in collaboration with ALX Rods USA, Blue Water Gear South Africa and local renowned South African angler August Lingnau. The LT series is built on a custom Hydra Fishing NG SFD (Scrimless Fibre Design) Series Blank.

It was specifically built to address a gap left in the market. Function specific it was designed for "finesse" extremely light texas setups, hence the LT. Because of the light weight design and extreme sensitivity, it performs equally well with any light-weight setups such as weightless presentations or the South African stalwart "the mojo rig". The light and sensitive tip is fast enough to provide a cross over between providing precision control on the lure while being soft enough to allow enough "give" for very light line approaches. The rod however boasts great backbone with a clever design to still ensure great hooksets and power to get big fish to the boat.

This rod is light, hyper sensitive and packs a punch 10 to none! Adorned with metallic orange binding, silver aluminium trimmings, custom split reel seat and then sealed with the signature of August Lingnau himself.

The LT Series blank features 125GSM carbon cloth in a SFD pattern. The SFD pattern eliminates the need to use fibreglass or carbon paper scrim and represents an entirely new approach to the rod blank design. The customs NG SFD Series blanks set a high bar for both sensitivity and dependability while maintaining weights as much as 9% lighter than traditional blank designs.
