Featuring a solid one-piece 6061-T6 aluminum body for unmatched strength, rigidity, and durability, the Salty 150 Casting Reel is the first fully machined low-profile bait caster CNC cut from bar stock aluminum and pieced together with stainless-steel components.
Equipped with the finest combination of internal components to provide smooth casts and reliability, these compact 150-size reels are packed with 10+1 stainless steel bearings and allow for on-the-fly adjustments with an external magnetic braking system. Coated in a Nautical Blue anodised saltwater-resistant finish, the Bates Fishing CO Salty 150 Casting Reel includes a 120mm titanium crank arm, laser-engraved cork grips, and a cork thumb bar for a comfortable and secure grip.

If anything goes wrong with your CNC Milled reel within the first three years of ownership, we’ve got your back. In the rare case we can’t repair it, we’ll replace it - no hassle, no nonsense. Most issues are handled well before then, but please allow us up to 30 days for repairs or replacements so we can get you back on the water with the best possible result.

Our EDC (Every Day Carry) reels are built for reliability and value, and they’re covered by a solid 1-Year Warranty. If any manufacturing defect appears within the first year of ownership, we’ll repair or replace it promptly so your everyday fishing stays uninterrupted.
