Hello fellow anglers and fishing enthusiasts! The adrenaline was pumping, the lines were cast, and the waters of Arabie Dam witnessed yet another exhilarating A4A event. The latest adventure was nothing short of a triumph, with a string of memorable catches and heart-pounding moments that left a lasting mark on the participants.

The day started with promise, as the morning sun cast its golden glow upon the tranquil waters. It wasn't long before the first taste of victory was savored, as I reeled in a remarkable 1.8kg kicker that set the tone for the day.

The fishing was not limited to just one angler, as my father, Pieter Khourie, made his own mark by landing an impressive 2kg kicker. With every catch, the camaraderie and shared passion for the sport grew stronger, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

As the day progressed, the determination to enhance our bag pushed us to cull out the smaller catches. Armed with insights gained during practice, we strategically targeted key areas and were rewarded with the satisfaction of landing three 1kg beauties. The relentless pursuit of perfection paid off, culminating in a top 5 finish with a bag weighing in at an impressive 7.1kg.
